PRE-PRODUCTION
This page is dedicated to the documents and pre-production for the short film to provide a form of early concept.
BUDGET LIST
WHATS THE COST FOR ALL OF THIS?
The estimated cost for budget would be at most $500-$2000 NZD for the set designing. Most of it is going to be in one room from the point of view of the broadcasters and to make it seem legit its going to be a proper set to stay immersive.

This list shows the progression of the budget at the current time 23/05/2024.
THE LOGISTICS
These documents are still developing with the project and are set in place for us to be able to gauge how things are going to be laid out.
SHOT LIST
WHAT DOES FILMING LOOK LIKE?
This shot list is for filming the TV show pilot.
This is a demonstration of how the shot lists will look like.
In this shot list you can see that theres not a lot of variety in the angles since it is all filmed indoors with limited shots to match the time period it would have been shot in.
CONCEPTS
These are the concepts and visuals provided for the production. Take a look at the process we went through!
These are mood boards of media that has influenced
Natalie's Night In.
My whole life I've dedicated my days to becoming knowledgeable on media that set the foundation for where my passion lies, film.
The 1960's were an explosive era for art as a whole, these are some of the films that heavily influenced me on my work as a creator.

OUTFITS THAT MADE THE CUT:
The outfits for Nat and Nick specifically have to resemble someone hosting a 60's show. There's got to be playful colors that not only contrast the set but also pair well with their counterpart. Sourcing these clothes wont be difficult since i already own a wardrobe of retro clothing.
NAT'S & NICK'S APPEARANCE?
WHAT KIND OF SET?
The set design we anticipated was full of solid bright colors that realistically display the decade Natalie's Night In is set in (60's-70's). Warm bright happy colors like orange, red, yellow and pink are going to set a tone of a friendly happy set so it can contrast the morbid implications in the show.
